Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Citation XLS SIC to join our Morristown-based operation. The candidate will operate the Citation XLS with emphasis on safety, professionalism, and adherence to FAA regulations.

Requirements include total time of 1000 hours, PIC 500 hours, MEL 500 hours, a type rating on the Citation XLS, and a first-class medical. Willingness to relocate within a 2-hour drive from KMMU and to work on-call is required.

Qualifications

• Total flight time of 1000+ hours.
• PIC experience with 500+ hours.
• MEL and MEL PIC experience.
• Type rating on Citation XLS or similar aircraft.
• First class medical is required.
• Willing to relocate within 2 hours of KMMU and able to work on-call.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the Citation XLS aircraft.
• Perform thorough pre-flight inspections.
• Review weather, facilities, and alternate airports for planned routes.
• Ensure operations comply with Solairus policies and FAA regulations.
• Maintain passenger, aircraft, and crew safety at all times.
• Accurate completion of all trip paperwork.

Overview

Solairus Aviation is currently searching for a Full-Time Citation XLS SIC to join an operation at the KMMUairport. The ideal candidate will need to be a standout colleague while seeking excellence in every aspect of his/her performance. Essential Responsibilities/Duties

• Responsible for safe operation of the Citation XLSaircraft.
• Responsible for conducting flights in a safe and prudent manner in accordance with, but not limited to the following items:
  • Reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft.
  • The conduct of a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • A complete check of weather and facilities along the route to be flown and airports to be used, including alternate airports.
  • Ensure the flight is conducted in accordance with the policies and procedures of Solairus Aviation and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Ensure the safety of all passengers, aircraft and crew.
  • Accurate completion of all trip paperwork in accordance with current procedures.

Qualifications

• Total time = 1000 hours
• PIC = 500 hours
• MEL = 500 hours
• MEL PIC = 100 hours
• Time in Turbo Jet = 100 hours
• Instrument = 75 hours

Specific Qualifications/Certifications

• Type rated on Citation XLSor comparable aircraft
• First class medical required.
• Must be able to work on anon-call basis
• Must be able to complete ICAO International procedures training annually
• Primary residence within a 2 hour drive from KMMUor willing to relocate.

Additional Information

Solairus collects salary range information based on market conditions from multiple industry sources. Solairus crewmembers are paid $50,000 to $500,000 based on geographic area, experience, equipment type/aircraft, job duties, training, and the assigned account.
