Job summary

Intellekt is seeking an CISSP Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to support USSTRATCOM at Offutt AFB, NE. The role focuses on protecting critical IT services for national security and overseeing the information security program in alignment with RMF policies.

The incumbent will lead policy development, risk assessments, and incident response planning while coordinating with multiple commands and defense agencies. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• 3–10+ years of information security experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Security certification: CISSP or similar; Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversees development, implementation and evaluation of information system security program policy with emphasis on SAP network infrastructures.
• Develops and oversees RMF-based information systems security policies and guidelines.
• Advises USSTRATCOM on RMF assessment and authorization issues.
• Performs risk assessments and maintains a formal Information Systems Security Program; develops incident response procedures.

Department: USSTRATCOM

Job Summary:

The Candidate will be supporting USSTRATCOM at Offutt AFB, NE. USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety.

Essential Functions:

• Performs oversight of the development, implementation and evaluation of information system security program policy; with a special emphasis placed upon integration of existing SAP network infrastructures.


• Develops and oversees operational information systems security implementation policy and guidelines of network security, based upon the Risk Management Framework (RMF).


• Advises USSTRATCOM on Risk Management Framework (RMF) assessment and authorization issues.


• Performs risk assessments and make recommendations to USSTRATCOM. Develops and maintains a formal Information Systems Security Program. Develops policies and procedures for responding to security incidents, to include investigating and reporting security violations and incidents.

Position Requirements

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

• 3-10+ yrs experience


• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field


• One of CGRC, CASP+, CCISO, CCSP, CISM, CISSP, Cloud+ or SSCP


• Security clearance: Top Secret (SCI eligibility required).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong coordination, communication and documentation skills.


• Excellent technical support and advice capabilities across various levels of command.
