Job summary

S&S Activewear in Bolingbrook, IL seeks a Director of Cyber Security (CISO/CPO) to lead enterprise security, data privacy, and risk management across eCommerce, ERP, and logistics systems. This senior role partners with legal, IT, and business teams to balance protection with growth.

You will own security strategy, architecture, governance, incident response, and regulatory compliance (PCI, SOX, U.S. privacy laws), while mentoring a multi-disciplinary team and driving durable security programs

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of cybersecurity leadership experience.
• Experience as a CISO, Head of Security, or equivalent executive role.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and privacy laws (CCPA/CPRA).

Responsibilities

• Own the cybersecurity roadmap and guide programs for multiple years.
• Define and maintain security architecture across on-prem, cloud, and SaaS.
• Lead privacy program and act as Data Protection Officer.
• Manage incident response and cyber insurance program.
• Oversee governance, compliance, and audit readiness.
• Lead security and privacy teams and cross-functional initiatives.
• Engage stakeholders and communicate risk in business terms.
