Job summary

NextGen | GTA: A Kelly Telecom Company is seeking an experienced Cisco Network Engineer to support large-scale telecom/carrier network environments in the United States. This role requires active USA work authorization and involves implementing configurations, upgrades, and troubleshooting across lab and production networks.

You will work with engineering, operations, and customer teams to develop and execute procedures, with a focus on Cisco routing, switching, security, and network automation

Qualifications

• Active USA work authorization.
• Strong Cisco routing and switching experience.
• Experience with large enterprise or carrier networks.
• Knowledge of network security; hands-on troubleshooting required.

Responsibilities:

• Support Cisco routing, switching and security platforms.
• Perform network configuration, integration, upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Support lab and production network environments.
• Develop and execute implementation procedures/MOPs.
• Troubleshoot complex network and platform issues.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations and customer teams.

Required Skills:

• Strong Cisco routing & switching experience.
• Network security knowledge.
• Hands-on troubleshooting experience.
• Network automation/scripting is highly preferred.
• Experience supporting large enterprise or carrier networks.
• Verizon/carrier experience is a plus.
