Innova Solutions is seeking a hands-on Telecom/Network Engineer for a 12+ month, full-time contract in Austin, MN. You will design, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure, configure Cisco Catalyst C9000 switches and C8000 routers, and guide small network projects.

The ideal candidate will work across architecture decisions, document configurations, and coordinate internal and external resources, delivering reliable network solutions and supporting OSI Layer 1–3 issues.

Qualifications

• Strong enterprise networking concepts.
• Hands-on with Cisco Catalyst C9000 switches and C8000 routers.
• Ability to troubleshoot Layer 1–3 issues and document work.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure.
• Participate in technical direction, architecture design, and product-selection decisions.
• Configure and install Cisco switching and routing equipment.
• Support access-layer and distribution-layer network deployments.
• Troubleshoot network issues using OSI-layer methodology.
• Lead or coordinate small network-related projects.
• Document network configurations, implementations, and troubleshooting activities.
