Job summary

Jetvia in Austin, TX is seeking a Cirrus SR22 Charter Pilot to fly charter clients across the Southern United States and support rapid AOG logistics across the southeastern U.S. You’ll be airborne within 60 minutes of the first call and may be stationed at multiple facilities on peak days.

You'll build hours (25-50+ per month) toward progression within Jetvia's Learjet fleet, with pathways to SIC roles after milestones.

Qualifications

• Must live within 30 minutes of AUS Airport.
• Commercial and Instrument Rating required.
• First-class medical certificate.
• Minimum 1200 hours total time.
• 100 hours total time in SR aircraft.
• Well organized and detail-oriented with multitasking ability.
• Excellent time management and customer relations.

Responsibilities

• Plan flight operations and review weather, en route and at destination.
• Calculate weight and balance, fuel planning and performance data.
• Complete pre-flight inspections.
• Serve as Pilot in Command and supervise crew.
• Coordinate and monitor all assigned crew members and ensure safety.

The Role

Jetvia is looking for a Cirrus SR22 Charter Pilot based in Austin, TX.

Your primary responsibility is to fly charter clients in our service area encompassing the Southern United States.

Your secondary responsibility will be to support Jetvia's fleet by rapidly transporting people and parts to AOG aircraft across the southeastern United States. Your job is to be airborne within 60 minutes of the first call. On peak days, you may be expected to be stationed at our facilities around the United States, such as ELP, GKY, and TIX airports, ready to respond at a moment's notice.

This position is for a pilot who wants to fly 25-50+ hours per month.

Career Progression

This position will provide a pathway to the right seat in the world's largest Learjet fleet. After reaching 500 hours with Jetvia, you may have the opportunity to transition to an SIC role on the Learjet 60 at Jetvia, or a role with one of our partners who also operates jets.

Qualifications

Required

• Live or relocate to be within 30 minutes of AUS Airport
• First-class medical certificate.
• Commercial and Instrument Rating
• Minimum 1200 hours total time.
• 100 Hours of total time in SR aircraft
• Well organized and detail-oriented with an ability to multitask.
• Excellent time management and customer relation skills.

Preferred

• Previous Cirrus Experience / CSIP Endorsement
• Certified Flight Instructor
• 1,500 Hours TT

Training

Jetvia will provide Cirrus Transition Training at its expense.

Position Responsibilities

• Conducts flight planning, reviews weather conditions at destination, en route, and at alternate airports.
• Calculates and reviews aircraft weight and balance, fuel planning, and performance data.
• Ensures pre-flight inspections are performed.
• Serves as Pilot in Command
• Complies with schedules and other directives governing aircraft operation.
• Supervises and directs the first officer.
• Coordinates and monitors the functions of all assigned crew members.
• Represents Jetvia when dealing with executive clients and other charter operators.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
