Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide compassionate nursing care across the lifecycle, from birth onward, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. You will coordinate care with other team members and uphold standards of practice within the organization's policies.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, hold Georgia RN licensure, and be prepared for a dynamic hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• Current Georgia RN license and/or NLC/eNLC Multistate Licensure required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum).

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care.
• The staff nurse coordinates patient care activities of all assigned staff and maintains standards of practice within organizational policies.

Education

Graduate from an accredited nursing school
