Job summary

Millenia Surgery Center in Orlo Vista, FL is seeking a Circulating RN to join our operating room team on a PRN basis. The RN will deliver patient care through the nursing process across preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative phases, ensuring safety and quality in a fast-paced surgical environment.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, holds an active RN license in Florida, and maintains BLS and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and active FL RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Ability to follow Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Experience in an operating room environment preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process in preop, intraop and postop phases.
• Assess physiological and psychosocial health status and plan care accordingly.
• Document care accurately and legibly in patient records.
• Maintain aseptic technique and surgical site identification per policy.
• Anticipate needs, communicate with the team, and respond to emergencies.
