Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. is hiring an Assembly Technician for its new Advanced Switchgear Facility in New Galilee, PA. You will build frames, sub-assemblies, and mechanical components for circuit breakers following detailed drawings.

You'll use hand and power tools, perform basic electrical connections, and participate in safety training to operate forklifts and cranes. This role offers steady hours, PTO after 90 days, and a path for career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, with at least two years' work experience or equivalent education.
• Basic computer skills are a plus.
• Willingness to obtain safety training and operate machinery.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Assemble frames, bushings, and sub-assemblies for circuit breakers and related orders according to drawings and work orders.
• Perform basic electrical connections based on diagrams and specs; prep for shipment with sealants and secure packaging.
• Use hand and power tools to build high-quality assemblies per drawings and BOMs.
• Inspect subassemblies and assemblies for defects and ensure top-notch quality; learn and discuss quality, safety, and environmental policies.
