Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Test Technician to manufacture assemblies on automated equipment, ensuring high quality and efficient processes. You will operate automated testing equipment on circuit boards, maintain production flow, and follow standardized procedures while adhering to safety and security policies.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 6–12 months of relevant production experience, with certifications as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; and six months to a year experience in a relevant Jabil production position; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all required job related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated electronic test equipment on circuit board assemblies and subassemblies.
• Ensure quality and improve efficiency through CIQ system usage.
• Maintain continuous flow of the manufacturing line and meet production goals while performing test duties.
• Load and unload test fixtures.
• Label, stamp or mark boards and fill out tags; use barcode scanner.
• Advise supervisor of recurring test failures for corrective action.
• Ensure assemblies are properly handled and process control sheets are accurate.
• Perform other test operations as assigned by supervisor.
• Follow simple, standardized procedures and visuals for assigned test operations.
• Keep assigned area clean and organized; follow safety and health rules and company security policy.
