Job summary

Nen Creative is seeking a technically sharp cinematographer to join our Bay Area team. This full-time, on-site role requires owning camera, lighting, and grip setups across a range of productions, from founder interviews to brand films.

You'll collaborate with directors and producers to shape visual strategy, execute on set, and manage footage through post, including DaVinci Resolve workflows. Relocation stipend available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Relocate to the Bay Area and be on set 3–4 days per week.
• Strong technical foundation in camera systems, lighting, and grip.
• Deep passion for cinematography and understanding exposure, lenses, coatings, and image character.
• Relentless attention to detail and high standards on every setup.
• Ability to work within real‑world budgets and constraints.
• Experience with talking heads, interviews, commercials, and brand films.
• Color grading and editing experience in DaVinci Resolve.
• Prior cinematography experience required.
• Willingness to adapt to agency timelines, travel, and weekend/after‑hours work.
• Must have a car.

Responsibilities

• Develop the visual approach with directors and producers and execute it on set.
• Own camera, lighting, and grip setups across productions.
• Work within budgets, deciding where to spend or save.
• Offload footage, build DaVinci Resolve projects, keep files organized from shoot through post.
• Color grade projects and handle final exports from raw footage.
• Adapt to our workflow and help improve it over time.
• Wear different hats per project as needed.
