Job summary

Linecker Silva is seeking a Sound Designer/Foley Artist to complete the audio for a short film: create sound effects, ambience, and room tones, with minimal dialogue. The project is a low-budget independent production based on a Shirley Jackson story, undertaken by a small, passionate crew.

You will handle full sound post-production for the short, including dialogue editing, Foley, sound design, and final mix, with a turnaround of about one week.

Qualifications

• Portfolio of sound design and Foley work.
• Ability to deliver complete post-production sound for short film.
• Ability to work within a shoestring budget and tight timeline.

Responsibilities

• Create sound effects, ambient/room tones, dialogue editing and final mix.
• Collaborate with director and editors.
• Deliver a polished sound track within ~1 week.
