Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking a Civil/Mechanical Equipment Operator for solar farm construction projects. You will operate heavy machinery on job sites, perform site prep, trenching, and assist with mechanical assembly for solar array structures.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience, ability to read blueprints, and a strong commitment to safety. You will work independently or with a team and maintain equipment through routine checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy civil and/or mechanical construction equipment.
• Proficiency in operating multiple types of equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, forklifts, telehandlers, and pile drivers.
• Strong understanding of construction site safety procedures and protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans is a plus.
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods in various weather conditions.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification is preferred.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites (non-CDL required).
