Job summary

Saint Luke's Health System is seeking a Nursing Assistant to deliver direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role includes bathing, hygiene, toileting, feeding, hydration, ambulation and positioning to ensure comfort and safety on the unit.

The Nursing Assistant supports patient safety and satisfaction by performing regular rounds and communicating clearly with all team members. Night shift, full-time position based in the United States.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• MO Nurse Aide certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct and indirect patient care tasks as delegated by the Registered Nurse.
• Provide bathing, hygiene, elimination toileting, nutrition feeding and hydration.
• Assist with ambulation and positioning to support safety and comfort.
• Conduct regular rounds to monitor patient needs and comfort and support patient satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to coordinate care.
