Job summary

Qualifications

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bath, feed, etc.)
• Record intake and output as directed by RN
• Maintain sterile technique during formula preparation and related procedures
• Ensure a clean and safe patient care environment
• Utilize electronic medical records to document care provided

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide other patient care as directed
• Prepare rooms for patient admissions and ensure equipment is ready
• Record vital signs and report abnormalities to RN
• Transport patients to other units and escort discharged patients to the car
• Deliver reports and supplies to other unit locations as needed
• Communicate patient needs with other departments as delegated by RN
• Participate in hospital education programs and unit meetings
• Support family-centered care in all interactions
