Job summary

Amentum seeks a Counterintelligence (CI) Specialist/Officer in Washington, DC to conduct all-source analysis for the DIA Office of Counterintelligence, forecasting national security developments across regions and functions.

The role requires active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, a bachelor's degree, 4–8 years' related experience, and a commitment to safety and compliance within a federal contractor environment. You may work with field agents and senior leadership to produce reliable reports.

Qualifications

• All-source analytic experience across collections, operations, and investigations
• Ability to translate incomplete/complex information into clear analysis
• Structure analysis from reporting trends and multiple perspectives
• Work independently with minimal oversight
• Collaborate with IC members to share information and resolve disputes
• Develop concise, insightful defense intelligence products
• Lead teams researching multifaceted problems
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Mastery of DoD policies, procedures, and tools

Responsibilities

• Provides all-source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence analytic requirements
• Guides in selecting, designing, and applying analytic methodologies
• Uses validated analytic methodologies to challenge perspectives
• Monitors and analyzes political, military, and economic developments in the Areas of Operational Responsibility/Interest
• Assesses future and ongoing developments, military capabilities and doctrine, weapons acquisitions, and use of forces
• Researches and coordinates threat assessments to support senior leadership
• Connects information from diverse sources to produce reliable reports
• Assesses believability of information and validates intelligence
• Performs other duties as assigned
