Job summary

Fogo de Chão in Emeryville, CA is hiring a Server/Waiter/Waitress to deliver warm hospitality and a high-end dining experience. You will greet guests, present menus, take orders, and coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth service.

This is a full-time, hourly position with a fixed rate of $20.34 per hour and tips. Medical, dental, and vision insurance are available after 60 days for full-time team members, plus life insurance and disability coverage and voluntary benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to transport objects up to 25 lbs, stand for long periods of time, and work at a quick pace.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and acknowledge each guest with a smile, make eye contact, and greet verbally.
• Pull each guest's chair and lay the napkin in their lap.
• Present menu and answer questions regarding items.
• Explain preparation methods and table-side serving concepts.
• Take and serve beverage and dessert orders and relay special requests to churrasqueiros.
• Place orders with cashiers for processing and payment.
• Assist other servers as needed.
• Complete any opening or closing shift duties.
