Abundant Life Baptist Church is seeking a Custodian to maintain clean and welcoming church campuses and support worship services, events, and daily operations. You will work with the Facilities team to keep spaces orderly and ready for ministry activities, staff, volunteers, and guests.

Qualifications

• Custodial or facilities experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work flexible hours based on church services and events.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean spaces.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the church campuses, including restrooms, classrooms, offices, hallways, common areas, and other designated spaces.
• Vacuum, mop, sweep, dust, sanitize, and perform other routine cleaning duties.
• Empty trash throughout the facility and ensure trash areas remain clean and orderly.
• Set up and tear down rooms for worship services, meetings, events, and ministry activities.
• Move chairs, tables, and other furniture as needed.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to the Facilities team.
• Work cooperatively with staff and volunteers to accomplish ministry and facility goals.
