Job description

Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Augusta GA is looking for Business Administrator who will be responsible for the financial and business matters. Some of the financial operations include accounting operations, preparation of financial statements, facilitating the annual budget process, meeting internal reporting requirements, conducting accounts reconciliation, and ensuring timely and accurate payroll and accounts payable processing. Some of the human resources operations include orienting new personnel in personnel policies and procedures, the provisions of the personnel manual, payroll procedures, and entitlement to benefits. Maintain personnel records and provides for their security. Other desirable qualifications include the following: 3-5 years of responsible management and financial experience preferably in a non-profit organization, Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in accounting or finance preferred, Proficiency in the use of computers and with Microsoft Word and Excel, ACS OnDemand software, strong analytical skills, excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and self-starter. 28 hours a week (Monday-Thursday, 10am-4pm, preferred).
