Job summary

DT-Healthcare Staffing is seeking a local contract Outpatient Physical Therapist for a full-time position in New York, NY. The role focuses on chronic pain management and requires on-site and VA Video Connect delivery.

The ideal candidate holds a CAPTE-accredited PT degree and a current US PT license, with experience in hospital or ambulatory care settings. Occasional travel between Manhattan and Brooklyn campuses is possible.

Qualifications

• Must have a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy degree.
• Current, full, unrestricted PT license in any US state or territory.
• GS-13 Clinical Specialist equivalency criteria for experience or board certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate Veterans with chronic pain and related conditions with autonomous clinical decision-making.
• Lead Pain Management group-based care ≥50% of clinical time via VVC or in person.
• Deliver interventions including therapeutic exercise, neurore-education, gait training, PNE, and adaptive equipment.
