Job summary

Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is seeking a Seasonal Barback to support the Christmas at the Princess operations. You will assist bartenders, stock stations, and maintain beverage service during peak holiday events from October 31 through January 10.

Work in a luxury resort environment with dining and spa amenities. This part-time role offers on-site dining discounts, meals while on shift, and opportunities to learn through our hospitality Academies while contributing to guest experiences.

Reporting to the Director of Christmas at the Princess Operations, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Seasonal dates of position: October 31stthroughJanuary 10th
• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Display precise knowledge of all event activities and experience inclusions
• Ensure the proper set up of all side stations in the outlet
• Have knowledge of beverage lists and promotions
• Have knowledge of all menu items, contents and preparation methods
• Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
• Other duties as assigned
  • Previous point of sale system experience an asset
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak event periods.

Visa Requirements: Proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required.
