Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree (a master’s in education preferred), state teaching certification, and a strong Christian testimony. They should communicate clearly, collaborate with colleagues and use technology to differentiate instruction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• State certification in teaching in the appropriate subject area.
• Master’s degree in education preferred.
• Strong Christian testimony and a calling to serve as a positive Christian role model.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning.
• Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of student progress and development.
• Observe and evaluate student performance and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Participate in school departmental and parent meetings.
