Responsibilities

• Implement lesson plans and instructional activities provided by the regular teacher.
• Provide meaningful learning experiences that support student growth and achievement.
• Adapt instruction while maintaining continuity of learning.
• Facilitate classroom discussions, activities, assignments, and assessments as directed.
• Use appropriate teaching methods and classroom technology when applicable.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance and student participation.
• Establish and maintain a positive, respectful, and orderly classroom environment.
• Supervise students throughout the school day and during transitions.
• Enforce school rules, policies, and classroom expectations consistently.
• Address behavioral concerns and communicate issues to administration.
• Promote student responsibility and Christian character.
• Ensure safety and well-being of all students in care.
• Follow safety procedures and emergency protocols.
• Monitor students during all school activities and report incidents promptly.
• Leave detailed notes for the regular teacher on lessons and behavior.
• Communicate professionally with staff, students, and parents.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and school information.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work across grade levels and settings.
• Arrive on time and be prepared to fulfill duties.
• Integrate biblical principles and Christian values into interactions with students.
• Participate in prayer, chapel services, Bible instruction, and faith-based activities as appropriate.
• Encourage spiritual, academic, social, and emotional development.
• Foster an atmosphere reflecting the love of Christ and school mission.
