Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Christian Mental Health Counselor located in Paducah, KY. Hybrid or part-time is optional. The counselor will provide comprehensive mental health care, including individual and relationship counseling that aligns with Christ-centered values. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, facilitating therapy sessions, and maintaining case documentation. The counselor will also collaborate with colleagues to ensure the delivery of effective care that addresses the emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs of clients.

Qualifications

• Preferred 3+ years of licensed experience.
• Proficiency in Treatment Planning to create effective, personalized care strategies aligning with best practices.
• Expertise in Mental Health and Psychology, with a focus on supporting emotional and psychological well-being.
• Skill in Relationship Counseling to address interpersonal conflicts and foster healthy communication.
• Experience in Case Management, including documentation, coordination, and monitoring of client progress.
• Licensed as a counselor or therapist in the state of Kentucky (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, etc.).
• Strong understanding of and commitment to integrating Christian principles with therapeutic approaches.
• Effective communication, empathetic listening, and problem-solving skills.
• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
