Job summary

Miracle Bible Camp in Minnesota is seeking a full-time leadership role to design and implement a summer camp program. The role includes planning themes, activities, chapel speakers, and Bible learning while managing budgets and recruiting staff and volunteers to build a Christ-centered, servant atmosphere.

• Agrees with Miracle Bible Camp's faith, philosophy and policies.
• Loves campers and maintains a consistent walk with God.
• Has camp leadership experience and training.
• Able to self-manage a work schedule with a strong work ethic.
• Believes leadership is a major spiritual gift.
• Knowledge of maintenance and construction is beneficial.
• Able to teach Bible studies and train staff; able to preach.
• Can manage multiple tasks and people at once.
• Demonstrates a servant-ministry leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive witness for Jesus Christ in all words and actions and promote a Christ-like atmosphere.
• Recruit and select summer staff, provide spiritual development and direction.
• Develop and maintain church relationships and support teams.
• Contribute to maintenance, construction, housekeeping, and foodservice as needed.
• Plan and develop the summer camp program, themes, activities, speakers, music, and Bible learning.
• Develop programs to utilize the property for outdoor/creation education.
• Follow up with campers to encourage year-round spiritual growth and church connections.
• Host retreat groups with personal attention for a spiritually and physically beneficial stay.
• Work with leadership to maintain a 5-year plan for property development and upkeep.
• Responsible for budget planning and operation of Miracle Bible Camp programs.
• Lead and train staff to ensure safety of staff and campers.
• Develop program facilities with the director to ensure safe operation.
• Meet regularly with the director for goal setting and planning.
• Coordinate with state and county officials on facility and youth camp compliance and child protection.
• Utilize MBC policies for staff missionary support raising.
