Job description

Celebration Life Academy is seeking caring, dependable, and Christ-centered individuals to join our preschool team in Livermore. We are currently hiring both a Preschool Teacher and a Preschool Aide to help provide a safe, nurturing, structured, and engaging learning environment for young children.

Our preschool staff members partner with families and coworkers to support each child's academic, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual growth. Ideal candidates will enjoy working with young children, communicate well with others, and desire to make a meaningful impact through early childhood education.

Preschool Teacher Responsibilities Include

• Planning and leading developmentally appropriate classroom activities


• Creating a warm, organized, and Christ-centered classroom environment


• Supporting children’s social-emotional development and positive behavior


• Maintaining classroom routines, supervision, cleanliness, and safety


• Communicating professionally with families, coworkers, and school leadership


• Following California Community Care Licensing requirements and school policies


• Documenting student progress and participating in staff meetings and training

Preschool Aide Responsibilities Include

• Assisting the lead teacher with classroom activities, routines, and transitions


• Actively supervising children during learning, play, meals, rest, and outdoor activities


• Helping prepare classroom materials and maintain a clean, organized environment


• Supporting positive behavior and encouraging children’s independence


• Communicating professionally and working collaboratively with the preschool team


• Following all safety, licensing, and school procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• A genuine love for Jesus and a desire to work in a Christian educational environment


• A warm, patient, dependable, and professional approach


• Strong communication and teamwork skills


• Previous experience working with young children preferred


• Preschool Teacher applicants should have completed, or be actively completing, the Early Childhood Education units required for their position under California licensing standards


• Ability to complete all required background checks, health clearances, and mandated-reporter training
