Cole Valley Christian Schools seeks a Christ‑centered Middle School Head Girls Basketball Coach to lead a program that integrates athletic development with spiritual growth. You will coach, mentor, and disciple student athletes while upholding school values and safety standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and a heart for discipleship within a Christ‑centered culture. Schedule includes approximately 12–15 hours per week during the season, starting October 2026, at an Idaho location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience playing or coaching.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Be spiritually mature with demonstrated leadership experience.
• Desire to invest in and disciple students in their relationship with the Lord.
• Previous youth discipleship experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct safe, effective, and age-appropriate practices.
• Teach fundamental running techniques, conditioning, pacing, and race strategies.
• Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and respect.
• Supervise student athletes during practices, meets, transportation, and team activities.
• Ensure compliance with school, district, and league policies and procedures.
• Communicate regularly with athletes, parents, athletic administration, and school staff.
• Organize meet entries, practice schedules, and team logistics.
• Monitor athlete eligibility, attendance, and academic expectations.
• Build relationships and invest in the lives of the students, helping them grow in their relationship with Christ.
• Collaborate with Athletic Director in ensuring transportation, facilities, equipment, and safety requirements are met.
