Job summary

King's Schools in Shoreline, WA seeks an Assistant Teacher to support a Christ-centered classroom for preschool and pre-kindergarten. You will implement established curricula, supervise students, and collaborate with the Lead Teacher and staff to foster spiritual and academic growth.

You will uphold DCYF standards and demonstrate a personal faith consistent with CRISTA values while engaging families and leading in classroom devotions.

Qualifications

• Must be a committed Christian aligned with CRISTA beliefs and CCC.
• Knowledge of DCYF Licensing Standards for Washington State.
• Experience working with preschool/pre-kindergarten students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, fun, age-appropriate classroom environment under supervision.
• Provide direct instruction using an established curriculum.
• Collaborate with Lead Teacher and support staff; assist in classroom management.
• Lead in the Lead Teacher's absence and participate in staff devotionals/prayer.
