Wheaton Park District is seeking a chorus administrator to oversee the overall operation of the chorus, including music selection, rehearsal supervision, and coordination with volunteers and accompanists. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in music (or equivalent) and strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
CPR/AED certification within 90 days and a valid driver’s license are required. Rehearsals occur Wednesdays 9:00 a.m.

Responsible for the overall operation of the chorus.
Bachelor’s degree in music or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Must have good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Must have and maintain: valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; and CPR/AED certified or obtain within ninety (90) days of employment. Be a “Mandated Reporter” for the Abused and Neglected Child Reporting Act.
Must be able to: frequently remain in a stationary position and repetitively use hands/arms,/fingers as when using a computer; occasionally move and position ones’ self to move items such as music supplies, etc. up to 10lbs.
Must be able to: handle all weather conditions while traveling between facilities, frequently work indoors.
Rehearsals take place Wednesdays 9:00 a.m. -12:30 p.m.(September through April with concerts in December and April)
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour DOQ
