Job summary

Pocono Concert Chorale, based in the Poconos, seeks a piano accompanist for a permanent role starting January 2027. The successful candidate will accompany all choir rehearsals and two performances annually, with duties at Stroudsburg First Presbyterian Church.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in music and strong choral score reading skills; experience with harpsichord and organ is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in music with classical choral accompaniment experience.
• Strong ability to read choral scores and play multiple vocal parts.
• Experience with harpsichord and/or organ is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accompany all choir rehearsals at Stroudsburg First Presbyterian Church.
• Attend Tuesday 7:00–9:15 pm rehearsals and Friday dress rehearsals.
• Accompany two performances: Thanksgiving weekend Sunday and the fourth Sunday in April.
