Job summary

Kent Place School in Summit, NJ seeks a collaborative pianist to accompany our choral program across JPK–12. The ideal candidate will have experience with school choirs in diverse styles and work well with conductors in an educational setting. We offer excellent grand pianos and a supportive music faculty, with growth anticipated in coming years.

Compensation is $100/hour, and the role is designed as a part-time on-site position to start, with potential expansion.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of performance experience preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with conductors in an educational environment.
• Bachelor's degree in performance or Music Education/Teaching preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accompany school choirs across grades JPK–12 in various styles.
• Collaborate with conductors to support rehearsals and performances.
