Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid Texas Teacher Certificate or out-of-state equivalent.
• Content exam and SoTR exam requirements met, if applicable.
• Certification must meet requirements to remain qualified for the position.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to TEA and district guidelines; develop and implement lesson plans with evidence of preparation.
• Plan lessons reflecting accommodations for diverse learning styles and use approved curricula.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula for IEPs.
• Work with staff to determine instructional goals and supervise teacher aides/volunteers; use technology to enhance teaching.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
