Job summary

Defiance City School District is seeking a part-time aide (10-15 hours per week) with a negotiable rate of pay and an immediate start where allowed. The role supports students and works with staff and parents under the Choir Director's supervision.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, good attendance, the ability to follow instructions, and the capacity to obtain an Educational Aide certificate through the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Good attendance is essential and will be reviewed before any transfer.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well with students, staff, and parents.
• Good physical health.
• Excellent piano skills and ability to work with students under the Choir Director's supervision.
• Experience preferred.
• Must have or be able to obtain an Educational Aide certificate through the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.
