Job summary

Russell Stover Chocolates, LLC is seeking a part-time Retail Associate to greet customers, provide friendly service, and help shoppers choose products. You will process payments, stock shelves, and support daily merchandising tasks in our Merriam, KS store.

Ideal candidates are at least 16 years old, with strong communication skills, cash handling experience, and a willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed. Training provided; benefits apply with schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach and work with your hands.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Retail or fast food experience a plus.
• Cash handling and basic math skills.
• Experience operating a cash register.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers by greeting them.
• Provide prompt, efficient and courteous customer service.
• Help customers make selections by providing information on products and offering suggestions.
• Accurately process payments by totaling purchases and processing checks, cash and credit cards.
• Prepare and supervise the regular in-house production of items such as caramel apples and fudge.
• Unload, receive and stock merchandise.
• Execute various other merchandising activities.
• Perform all regular cleaning activities and other tasks as required.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing a variety of tasks as directed.
