Job summary

The Joint Chiropractic in Rockwall, TX is seeking a Part-Time Chiropractor to join our team. You will provide high-quality care, perform spinal adjustments, and educate patients while coordinating with a team that supports your clinical focus. The schedule emphasizes Fridays and Saturdays with a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a licensed DC.
• Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited college.
• Passing NBCE Parts I–IV or NBCE SPEC as alternative.
• Valid DC license in the applicable state.
• Eligible for malpractice insurance in the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories and performing examinations.
• Evaluate neuro-musculoskeletal systems and spinal conditions.
• Perform manual adjustments to the spine or other joints as needed.
• Educate patients on benefits and provide treatment recommendations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and histories.
• Arrange and interpret diagnostic x-rays when necessary.
• Engage in patient education and building doctor-patient relationships.
• Promote membership packages to patients.

The Opportunity

• 2-day Weekly Schedule:Fridays from 9:30 - 7:00pm and Saturdays from 9:30 - 5:00pm

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing, and examining patients; and reviewing x-rays, as indicated.
• Evaluate patients’ neuro-musculoskeletal systems and the spine using chiropractic diagnosis to determine neuro-musculoskeletal and spine related conditions.
• Perform manual adjustments to the spine, or other articulations of the body, in order to correct the musculoskeletal system, where necessary.
• Educate patients on the quality of life benefits of routine chiropractic care. Provide a recommended course of treatment.
• Maintain accurate case histories of patients.
• Obtain and record patients' medical histories, as indicated.
• Arrange for diagnostic x-rays to be taken, when medically necessary.
• Analyze x-rays to locate the sources of patients' difficulties and to rule out fractures or diseases as sources of problems.

Qualifications needed

• A minimum of 2 yearsexperience as a licensed DC
• 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
• A Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college
• Passing scores for Parts I, II, III, and IV from NCBE
• A recent NBCE SPEC exam is an acceptable alternative for Part IV
• Valid DC license in the applicable state
• Fully eligible for Malpractice Insurance in the applicable state
