Job summary

The Joint Chiropractic in Lawton, OK is looking for a Doctor of Chiropractic to join our team. As one of our doctors, you will focus on patient care while we handle marketing, insurance, and business administration, letting you concentrate on quality adjustments and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
• DC degree from an accredited chiropractic college.
• Passing NBCE Parts I–IV or NBCE SPEC alternate accepted for Part IV.
• Valid DC license in the state of practice.
• Eligibility for malpractice insurance in the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing, and examining patients; and reviewing x-rays where indicated.
• Evaluate patients’ neuro-musculoskeletal systems and spine to determine related conditions.
• Perform manual adjustments to the spine or other joints as needed.
• Educate patients on benefits of routine chiropractic care and provide a treatment plan.
• Maintain accurate patient case histories and records.
• Record medical histories and document patient information.
• Arrange for diagnostic x-rays when medically necessary.
• Analyze x-rays to locate sources of difficulty and rule out fractures or diseases.
• Build positive doctor-patient relationships and maintain timely records.
• Sell membership packages.

The Opportunity:

• Part-Time: 2-3 Days per week
• Saturday (10am-4pm) and other days are negotiable, Weekday shifts (10am-7pm)

Responsibilities:

• Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing, and examining patients; and reviewing x-rays, as indicated.
• Evaluate patients’ neuro-musculoskeletal systems and the spine using chiropractic diagnosis to determine neuro-musculoskeletal and spine related conditions.
• Perform manual adjustments to the spine, or other articulations of the body, in order to correct the musculoskeletal system, where necessary.
• Educate patients on the quality of life benefits of routine chiropractic care. Provide a recommended course of treatment.
• Maintain accurate case histories of patients.
• Obtain and record patients’ medical histories, as indicated.
• Arrange for diagnostic x-rays to be taken, when medically necessary.
• Analyze x-rays to locate the sources of patients’ difficulties and to rule out fractures or diseases as sources of problems.

Qualifications needed:

• 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
• A Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college
• Passing scores for Parts I, II, III, and IV from NCBE
• A recent NBCE SPEC exam is an acceptable alternative for Part IV
• Valid DC license in the applicable state
• Fully eligible for Malpractice Insurance in the applicable state
