Job summary

The Joint Chiropractic is seeking a Part-Time Doctor of Chiropractic in Burleson, TX. You will provide patient care, perform spinal adjustments, and educate patients on treatment benefits while benefiting from malpractice coverage and access to health benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires active DC license in the applicable state.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college is required.
• Doctor of Chiropractic degree required.
• Passing scores for NCBE Parts I–IV are required; NBCE SPEC is an acceptable Part IV alternative.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories and performing physical exams.
• Evaluate neuro-musculoskeletal and spine conditions to determine diagnoses.
• Perform manual spinal adjustments and other articulations as needed.
• Educate patients on benefits of routine chiropractic care and provide treatment recommendations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and histories.
• Coordinate diagnostic imaging when medically necessary and analyze results.

The Opportunity:

• 3-day Weekly Schedule: Mondays and Fridays from 9:30 - 7:00pm and Sundays from 9:30 - 5:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing, and examining patients; and reviewing x-rays, as indicated
• Evaluate patients’ neuro-musculoskeletal systems and the spine using chiropractic diagnosis to determine neuro-musculoskeletal and spine related conditions
• Perform manual adjustments to the spine, or other articulations of the body, in order to correct the musculoskeletal system, where necessary
• Educate patients on the quality of life benefits of routine chiropractic care. Provide a recommended course of treatment
• Maintain accurate case histories of patients
• Obtain and record patients' medical histories, as indicated
• Arrange for diagnostic x-rays to be taken, when medically necessary
• Analyze x-rays to locate the sources of patients' difficulties and to rule out fractures or diseases as sources of problems
• Patient chiropractic care and education
• Building positive doctor-patient relationships
• Maintaining accurate and timely patient records
• Sales of membership packages

Qualifications needed:

• A minimum of 2 years experience as a licensed DC
• 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
• A Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college
• Passing scores for Parts I, II, III, and IV from NCBE
• A recent NBCE SPEC exam is an acceptable alternative for Part IV
• Valid DC license in the applicable state
• Fully eligible for Malpractice Insurance in the applicable state
