Job summary

The Joint Chiropractic – Monterey, CA is seeking a Doctor of Chiropractic to join our nationwide network. This role focuses on patient care while leadership in marketing, insurance handling, and business operations is provided to support you.

This full-time position offers competitive pay with bonus potential, medical benefits, PTO, holiday pay, and opportunities for advancement across the nation. You will evaluate patients, perform adjustments, educate on care, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
• A Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college.
• Passing scores for Parts I, II, III, and IV from NCBE; NBCE SPEC exam acceptable for Part IV.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients by reviewing health histories and performing examinations.
• Evaluate neuromusculoskeletal systems and spine to diagnose conditions.
• Perform manual adjustments to correct musculoskeletal issues.
• Educate patients on benefits of routine chiropractic care and propose courses of treatment.
• Maintain accurate patient case histories and records.
• Record and obtain patients' medical histories; arrange necessary X-rays.
• Analyze X-rays to locate sources of difficulty and rule out fractures.
• Promote patient care and education, and manage membership sales where applicable.

The Opportunity:

• Full-time: Mon-Fri 10-7pm, weekends 10-5pm * Urgently Hiring *
• Pay Range $80k - $140k - Depending on Experience + BONUS Potential

Responsibilities:

• Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing, and examining patients; and reviewing x-rays, as indicated.
• Evaluate patients’ neuromusculoskeletal systems and the spine using chiropractic diagnosis to determine neuromusculoskeletal and spine related conditions.
• Perform manual adjustments to the spine, or other articulations of the body, in order to correct the musculoskeletal system, where necessary.
• Educate patients on the quality of life benefits of routine chiropractic care. Provide a recommended course of treatment.
• Maintain accurate case histories of patients.
• Obtain and record patients' medical histories, as indicated.
• Arrange for diagnostic x-rays to be taken, when medically necessary.
• Analyze x-rays to locate the sources of patients' difficulties and to rule out fractures or diseases as sources of problems.

Qualifications needed:

• 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
• A Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college
• Passing scores for Parts I, II, III, and IV from NCBE
• A recent NBCE SPEC exam is an acceptable alternative for Part IV
• Valid DC license in the applicable state
• Fully eligible for Malpractice Insurance in the applicable state
