Requirements

• Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree
• Manual therapy skills: Sports chiropractors should have proficiency in manual therapy techniques such as ART, Graston, and myofascial release.
• Sports rehabilitation knowledge: A sports chiropractor should have a strong understanding of sports rehabilitation and be able to create and implement treatment plans that help athletes recover from injuries and improve athletic performance.
• Ability to work as part of a larger team of healthcare professionals, including PTs, orthopedic surgeons, and ATCs. As such, they should have strong communication and collaboration skills to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.
