Job summary

Premise Health Inc. is seeking a full-time Chiropractor to provide care for employees and dependents at our Health Center in Eagan, MN. The role is 40 hours per week during clinic hours, with a schedule of Mon/Wed 7:00-5:00, Tue/Thu 8:00-6:00, and Fri 7:00-11:00.

You will perform spinal adjustments, evaluate neuromuscular-skeletal function, and develop treatment plans. We offer competitive pay and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• D.C. degree and active state license(s) to practice.
• CPR/BLS certification with hands-on skills verification.
• At least three years of clinical chiropractic experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs manual adjustments to spine or other joints to reduce pain.
• Assesses neuromuscular-skeletal function and spinal health.
• Reviews patient history, exams, and x-rays to diagnose conditions.
• Maintains accurate EMR documentation and case histories.
• Counsels on treatment plans, exercises, and lifestyle for improvement.
• Interprets x-rays to rule out fractures or disease.
• Discusses nutrition, exercise, and sleep strategies with patients.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic imaging as needed.
• Refers patients to appropriate health practitioners when needed.
• Advices on use of supports like braces or tapes when appropriate.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

As a Full Time Chiropractor, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Eagan, MN.

Schedule

• 40 Hours Per Week During Clinic Hours
• Clinic Hours: Mon & Wed 7:00 am - 5:00 pm; Tue & Thu 8:00 am - 6:00 pm; Fri 7:00 am - 11:00 am

What You’ll Do

• Performs a series of manual adjustments to the spine, or other articulations of the body, in order to reduce pain or other associated musculoskeletal symptoms
• Evaluates the functioning of the neuromuscular-skeletal system and the spine using systems of chiropractic diagnosis
• Diagnoses health problems by reviewing patients' health and medical histories; questioning, observing and examining patients; and interpreting x-rays
• Maintains accurate case histories of patients within the electronic medical record
• Advises patients about recommended courses of treatment and provide appropriate exercise program for the member’s clinical presentation
• Analyzes x-rays in order to rule out fractures or diseases as sources of problems
• Counsels patients about nutrition, exercise, sleeping habits, stress management, and other matters
• Orders and interprets diagnostic x-rays in a manner consistent with clinical practice guidelines
• Consults with and refer patients to appropriate health practitioners when necessary
• Suggests and applies the use of supports such as straps, tapes, bandages, and braces if necessary
• May require other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• All state licenses/certifications to practice
• Current board certificate (if applicable)
• Doctor of Chiropractic Degree
• CPR (BLS for community/lay responder or Healthcare Provider/Professional Rescuer - the copy must include the front and back of card as applicable) Certification must include “hands on' evaluation of skills by the trainer/instructor. Total on-line courses will not be accepted. Course must also meet the American Heart Association (AHA) standards but need not be an AHA certificate.
• At least three years clinical experience
• Electronic Medical Record experience preferred

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $160,000.00 - $180,000.00 annually. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.
