Job summary

The Joint Chiropractic - Decatur AL is seeking a Doctor of Chiropractic to join a collaborative team that values support, respect, and work-life balance. You will focus on patient care in a cash-based practice, without the stresses of billing or marketing responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college.
• Passing NBCE exams (Parts I–IV) or SPEC exam accepted in place of Part IV.
• Valid DC license in the applicable state.
• Eligible for malpractice insurance in the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients by reviewing health histories, observing, examining, and evaluating conditions.
• Evaluate patients’ neuromusculoskeletal systems and spine-related conditions.
• Perform manual chiropractic adjustments and other therapeutic procedures as needed.
• Educate patients on the benefits of routine chiropractic care and recommend care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
• Obtain and record medical histories.
• Arrange for diagnostic x-rays when medically necessary.
• Analyze x-rays to identify sources of concern and rule out contraindications.
• Build positive doctor-patient relationships.
• Deliver exceptional patient care and education.
• Collaborate with other doctors to maintain a positive clinic environment.

Education

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college

NBCE Parts I–IV (Part IV may be replaced by SPEC exam)

Active DC license in the applicable state

Fully eligible for malpractice insurance in the applicable state

Pay Range: $80K-$110K
