Job summary

United Health Centers of the San Joaquin Valley in Fresno is seeking a dedicated Chiropractic Assistant to support chiropractors and manage front-line patient care in a modern facility.

This role handles clinical and administrative tasks, supports patient flow, and ensures exam areas are prepared; bilingual English/Spanish candidates are encouraged; minimum 2 years healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Medical Assistant Certification/Diploma from an accredited school.
• Valid Lifesaving Certification.
• Possess a valid CA License.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting; chiropractic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt medical support; promotes smooth patient flow; collects and records data accurately; maintains order of exam rooms, equipment and supplies.
• Supports the Chiropractor and health center by completing general tasks both on the clinical and office function tasks.
• Provides basic education and information to patients, answering questions and alleviating anxieties.
• Helps ensure patients and families receive the care they need when they need it.
• Communicates with supervisor and staff; works flexible hours as needed.
• Participates in health center in-services and meetings; respects others’ ideas.
• Adheres to confidentiality rules.
