Job summary

Applied Optoelectronics, Inc. is looking for a Chip Testing Shift Engineer for the 7pm-7am shift in Sugar Land, Texas. This role involves providing real-time support during chip testing operations, troubleshooting issues, and monitoring test data for quality assurance. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and familiarity with semiconductor devices. Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required in Material Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or related discipline.
• Experience with chip manufacturing or equipment automation is a plus.
• Knowledge of Semiconductor devices and basic programming skills, especially in LabView.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time technical support during assigned shifts to ensure smooth production operations.
• Troubleshoot work order and equipment issues promptly.
• Monitor test data for quality assurance and perform necessary calibrations.
