Job summary

The Unified Government Public Health Department seeks a CHIP Program Supervisor to lead planning, implementation, and evaluation of Wyandotte County's CHIP. The role supervises the Violence Prevention and Substance Misuse Coordinators and partners with leaders to ensure best practices and sustainability.

Responsibilities include securing funding, coordinating with diverse stakeholders, preparing reports and presentations, and guiding project planning and evaluation to improve community health

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MPH preferred.
• 2 years in community work/nonprofit/government/health/etc.
• 1 year supervisory experience.
• Grant writing/management experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead CHIP program planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Supervise Violence Prevention and Substance Misuse Coordinators.
• Foster partnerships with diverse stakeholders and elected officials.
• Secure funding and ensure sustainability across initiatives.
• Provide regular reports and presentations to community partners.
