Job summary

Global Dimensions, LLC seeks an experienced Chinese-Mandarin Operational Language Analyst (OLA II) to support critical intelligence missions at Fort Meade, MD. The role requires advanced Mandarin proficiency and cryptologic language processing expertise.

Responsibilities include processing Mandarin audio/graphic materials, producing translations and intelligence reports, and maintaining glossaries and databases while following security protocols.

Qualifications

• ILR Level 3 proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (Audio or Graphic).
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph.
• US Citizenship required.
• 4 years of full-time cryptologic language processing with a degree, or 6 years without a degree.
• 4 years of cryptologic language processing experience (EEIs, gisting, translation, transcription, databases).
• 2 years of primary duty experience in translation, transcription, and/or gisting.
• 2 of the required 4 years of experience must be within four years of resume submission.

• Develop and maintain glossaries, databases, and reference materials to improve mission effectiveness.
• Conduct research to resolve linguistic, cultural, and technical challenges.
• Collaborate with intelligence analysts and mission partners to support planning and production.
• Maintain security protocols, classification guidance, and QA standards.
• Support additional language and intelligence tasks as assigned.

We are a growing organization supporting critical national security missions through expertise in language and culture, training and education, information technology, cybersecurity, and intelligence.

We are currently seeking Chinese-Mandarin Operational Language Analysts (OLA II) to support critical intelligence missions at Fort Meade, Maryland. This position is designed for experienced cryptologic linguists with advanced Mandarin language proficiency who are skilled in foreign language exploitation, intelligence reporting, and operational language analysis.

Essential Job Functions:

The Chinese-Mandarin Operational Language Analyst (OLA II) will:

Perform advanced cryptologic language processing of Mandarin Chinese audio and graphic materials in support of national security and intelligence operations.

Scan, review, and exploit foreign language communications to identify Essential Elements of Information (EEIs) and other intelligence of operational value.

Produce accurate gists, translations, transcriptions, and intelligence reports in accordance with Government standards and mission requirements.

Draft and edit intelligence reports based on exploited foreign language materials.

Translate and transcribe complex technical, military, political, and operational communications while preserving the context and intent of the source material.

Develop and maintain working aids, glossaries, databases, and reference materials to improve mission effectiveness.

Conduct research to resolve linguistic, cultural, and technical challenges.

Collaborate with intelligence analysts and mission partners to support operational planning and intelligence production.

Maintain strict adherence to security protocols, classification guidance, and quality assurance standards.

Support additional operational language and intelligence tasks as assigned.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance with a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.

Minimum Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) Level 3 proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (Audio or Graphic).

One of the following:

• Associate's degree and 4 years of full-time cryptologic language processing experience, or
• 6 years of full-time cryptologic language processing experience without a degree.

Minimum 4 years of experience performing cryptologic language processing, including:

• Recovering Essential Elements of Information (EEIs)
• Gisting
• Translation
• Transcription
• Developing working aids and databases

At least 2 years of primary duty experience performing translation, transcription, and/or gisting.

No more than one year of the required experience may consist primarily of intelligence reporting duties.

At least 2 of the required 4 years of qualifying experience must have been obtained within four years of resume submission.

Desired Skills:

Experience supporting the National Security Agency (NSA), Department of Defense (DoD), or Intelligence Community (IC).

Experience producing serialized intelligence reports and supporting operational intelligence missions.

Strong understanding of cryptologic language processing methodologies and intelligence reporting standards.

Experience working in fast-paced, mission-driven classified environments.

Excellent analytical, research, written, and verbal communication skills.
