Job summary

CNSS • National Security Systems seeks multilingual analysts to join NSA's SIGINT mission as Linguists (MDLAs). The role centers on translating, transcribing, and analyzing foreign language material to support diverse customers across the Intelligence Community.

Applicants should have ILR 2/2 reading/listening in the target language and a degree in any field. LADP or direct-hire paths are described, with a structured training and tour program to build analytic competencies.

Qualifications

• Degree in any field is acceptable.
• ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for the target language.
• Experience in translation, transcription, or analysis preferred.
• Language analysts may participate in LADP or direct hire path.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, translate foreign language materials for SIGINT.
• Prepare written and oral assessments for policymakers and customers.
• Collaborate with partners and other analysts across IC.
• Mentor and coach other language analysts as needed.
