Job summary

CNSS • National Security Systems is seeking Language Analysts to support NSA’s SIGINT mission in Utah and at other NSA sites. The role focuses on Chinese language analysis, translation, transcription, and reporting within the MDLA framework.

Applicants should demonstrate ILR 2/2 and relevant analytic experience. The position offers a developmental LADP pathway or direct hire into analytic offices, with flexible tours and ongoing training aligned to the Cryptologic Training System.

Qualifications

• ILR level 2/2 reading and listening in target language required.
• Experience in language analysis, translation, transcription, or related analytic work.
• Entry/developmental path available with different education/experience combinations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze foreign language materials as part of SIGINT mission.
• Transcribe, translate, and assess linguistic data for intelligence reports.
• Collaborate with analysts across NSA and IC to support analytic outcomes.
• Mentor and guide junior language analysts as appropriate.
