Job summary

Apple Inc. seeks a Principal Security Engineering Program Manager for China Security & Infrastructure in ASE.

You’ll define the security strategy, drive large-scale compliance across Apple services in mainland China, and coordinate with regulators, legal, and executives to balance privacy with regulatory demands. You will lead cross-functional efforts, shape architecture with senior engineers, and communicate risk and progress to stakeholders at all levels while navigating a complex regulatory

Qualifications

• 10+ years of program management focusing on infrastructure security and compliance or 5+ years PM plus 5+ years in related security/engineering roles.
• Deep expertise in China's regulatory landscape, cybersecurity, data localization and privacy laws.
• Proven experience interfacing with government regulators, auditors and legal teams.
• Strong ability to communicate complex topics to technical and executive audiences.
• Experience leading large, cross-functional programs across global time zones.

Responsibilities

• Define and operationalize the strategic roadmap for China security and infrastructure compliance.
• Lead programs with regulators, legal teams, and government affairs for regulatory alignment.
• Advise Apple executives on regulatory risks and strategic investments.
• Manage complex dependencies and optimize scope, schedule, and resources.
• Shape technical architecture with engineers to meet security and regulatory mandates.
• Influence peers and executives to drive initiatives without direct authority.
• Develop communication plans for status updates and regulatory shifts.
• Use data and insights to drive strategic decisions and resource allocation.
