Job summary

My Gym - South Shore in Braintree seeks energetic individuals to teach gym classes for toddlers, preschoolers, and early grade school children. You will lead fun activities such as songs, games, and basic gymnastics, providing top-notch training and a supportive environment.

Ideal candidates are outgoing and reliable, available for 4 to 5 shifts a week, including team meetings on Fridays. Join us in making gym classes enjoyable and rewarding for young children!

Qualifications

• Reliable and available 4 or 5 shifts/week, including Fridays 1:15‑3:30pm for team meetings.
• Background in performing arts, athletics, child care, or teaching is a big plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Teach age-appropriate gym classes to toddlers, preschoolers, and early grade school kids.
• Lead classes filled with fun activities like songs, dances, and games.
• Conduct relays, conditioning skills, and obstacle courses.

Skills

Outgoing, upbeat, and full of positive energy

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Physically fit – able to hang from bars, do basic tumbling, lift kids

About the Job

We teach age-appropriate gym classes to toddlers, preschoolers, and early grade school kids. You’ll lead classes filled with fun activities like:

• Songs, dances, and games
• Relays, conditioning skills, and obstacle courses
• Basic gymnastics - including tumbling, vault, bars, and balance beam
• Warm‑ups, yoga, and team building activities

We provide comprehensive training and an easy-to-use online curriculum. You bring the energy, and we’ll teach you everything else!
