• MLS/MLIS degree required or equivalent combination with 1 year librarian experience in public or school library

Responsibilities

• Provide reference and reader's advisory services in person, by phone, or online
• Assist customers in using personal computers and electronic resources
• Evaluate materials for purchase and deletion and monitor budget
• Develop, promote, and participate in library programs and outreach
• Manage branch collections and contribute to collection development plans
• Maintain library web pages and verify links on the library site
• Assist in handling emergencies and customer complaints
• Collaborate in training, committees, and professional development activities
